Glasgow based band The Deadline Shakes emerged in 2012 with debut single ‘Sweeten The Deal’ which gained widespread support, featuring on Steve Lamacq (6 Music) and Jim Gellatly’s In Demand show. Vic Galloway selected The Deadline Shakes as one of his Breakout Bands on Radio Scotland, and Artrocker featured the band. The band were selected to play a ‘Glasgow Loves Christmas’ gig in George Square and made the final of the Tartan Clef Big Apple Award. Follow up free single ‘Don’t You Be Too Cool’ has also picked up strong support including Tom Robinson (6 Music). The band have featured in several ones to watch for 2013 lists, including Vic Galloway's Bands to look out for in 2013.
